Depending on your camp, you could be spending 9-12 jam-packed weeks working in the USA. Once camp ends, you also get 30 days to travel around the US! Is there really a better way to spend your summer!?

You can also help with laundry and maintenance too. These roles are very important in making sure camp runs smoothly and efficiently. Without the help of all these staff members, there would be no camp!
Within the weeks that the campers are at camp, US Summer Camps hold a variety of activities to keep the campers energised and busy. As an Activity Specialist, it will be up to you to lead and run these different sessions. For example, you can become a Swimming Teacher in the USA. As part of your duties, you will be expected to teach the campers different techniques such as Backstroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle, whilst also making sure the campers are safe and having fun.
Alternatively, Summer Camps also offer Performing Arts Job roles. As a Performing Arts Specialist, you lead the sessions and help to bring the campers out of their shells. Everyday is different and could involve vocal lessons, acting, dancing and so much more. You could also be in-charge of leading one of the biggest camp events, the camp theatre show!
If you are more sporty, there’s loads of coaching opportunities for you at Summer Camp too. Football Coaching is very popular and a role that camps hire for every year. You’ll focus on getting the campers confident on the field and learning new skills. From techniques like dribbling to control skills, everyday will be different!
