Times Square, New York

Lights, energy, excitement – this is New York’s beating heart.
You haven’t really seen NYC until you’ve stood in Times Square with the lights flashing and taxis zipping past. Perfect for photographers, shopaholics, and night owls, Times Square is packed with big-name stores like Forever 21, Disney, M&M World – and of course, Broadway theatres just steps away.
Best time to go? At night, when the lights dazzle and the vibe is electric.
Lombard Street, San Francisco

Zig-zag your way into one of California’s coolest views.
Known as “the crookedest street in the world,” Lombard Street is an Instagram dream. Its tight curves and colourful flowerbeds are a must-see – and the view from the top is next level. Walk it, snap it, then head to nearby Coit Tower or take in the Bay Bridge views.
Top tip: Walk down, not up. Your legs will thank you later.
Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood

Feel like a movie star on one of LA’s most iconic roads.
Sunset Boulevard is full of attitude, history, and Hollywood magic. Cruise past legendary music venues, celeb-filled cafés, and vintage LA landmarks. If you’ve ever dreamt of stardom (or just want a cool backdrop for your stories), this is the walk for you.
Bonus: Keep an eye out – you never know who might be walking beside you…
Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC

History buffs, this one’s for you.
Stretching from the White House to the Capitol Building, Pennsylvania Avenue is one of the most powerful roads in the world. It’s where presidents parade, protests happen, and history is made. Walk this street and feel like you’re stepping into a movie – with a political twist.
Fun fact: It’s often called “America’s Main Street.”
Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills

Luxury, fashion, and a touch of movie magic.
If you’ve ever wanted to window-shop like a celebrity, Rodeo Drive is your dream come true. This iconic two-mile stretch in the heart of Beverly Hills is home to over 45 designer stores, world-famous boutiques, and palm-lined pavements made for people-watching.
Even if you’re not splashing the cash, just walking down Rodeo Drive makes you feel like you’re part of an A-list lifestyle. Plus, it’s the location of that famous scene from Pretty Woman – who doesn’t love a good glow-up moment?
Don’t forget: Snap a photo by the ‘Via Rodeo’ sign for the ultimate Instagram moment.
Broadway, New York

The heartbeat of American theatre.
While Times Square might be the neon icon of NYC, Broadway is where the magic happens. Stretching through the Theatre District, Broadway is home to some of the most legendary stages in the world – from The Lion King to Hamilton.
Even if you don’t catch a show, walking along Broadway gives you a taste of the drama, buzz, and history that’s made this street famous. But trust us – if you can get a ticket, do it. There’s nothing like seeing a show on Broadway.
Tip: Head to the red TKTS booth in Times Square for same-day ticket deals.
Bourbon Street, New Orleans

Non-stop music, colour, and culture.
In the heart of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street is a celebration of all things New Orleans. Jazz floats through the air, beads swing from balconies, and the smell of Creole food drifts from every corner.
This street is alive day and night. From Mardi Gras madness to casual evenings filled with live brass bands and street performers, Bourbon Street offers a slice of Louisiana soul you won’t find anywhere else in the US.
Best time to go: At sunset – the music starts and the energy lights up the whole street.
Ocean Drive, Miami

Art Deco meets beachside bliss.
Ocean Drive is the crown jewel of South Beach, lined with pastel-coloured Art Deco hotels, palm trees, and buzzing cafés. It’s the perfect place to soak up the Miami sunshine, rollerblade by the sea, or sip an iced coffee while watching classic cars cruise past.
The vibe? Relaxed, colourful, and oh-so-cool.
Top tip: Visit early in the morning for golden light and fewer crowds – ideal for photos!
