A Typical Day at a Faith-Based Camp
Faith-Based Camps follow a structure very similar to other summer camps—packed with exciting, energetic activities for campers of all ages.
Expect to help with or lead:
- Sports and team games
- Ropes courses, climbing, and outdoor adventure
- Swimming, lake activities, and waterfront fun
- Creative workshops and performing arts
- Special moments of reflection, campfire songs, and shared meals

Jewish Summer Camps
Jewish Summer Camps are an essential part of Jewish culture in the USA, with a long-standing tradition of providing a fun, educational, and meaningful summer experience.
There are different types of Jewish Camps – including Traditional, Reform, and Orthodox. Many offer:
- Kosher meals
- Shabbat celebrations on Friday nights and Saturdays
- Israel-themed programming and cultural activities
You don’t have to be Jewish to work at many Jewish camps, though they always welcome Jewish staff members – especially those who are keen to get involved in cultural or faith-based programming.

Outside of these cultural traditions, Jewish camps are full of the same outdoor adventure, creativity, games, and friendships you’d expect at any American summer camp.
