Top of our list

First up: The Las Vegas Strip. It’s a whirlwind of lights, characters, music, street performers, dancing fountains, and larger-than-life hotels. Expect to see multiple Elvis impersonators, a few superheroes, and possibly someone getting married in a drive-thru chapel. It’s madness, magic and pure Vegas mayhem – in the best way.

Must-do: Head to the Stratosphere – Vegas’ tallest building – for panoramic views and some of the craziest thrill rides in the world. Brave enough? Take on:

  • X-Scream – a rollercoaster that dangles over the edge.
  • Insanity – a spinning ride high above the city.
  • SkyJump – a controlled 829-foot jump straight down. (Yep, it’s insane.)

What’s cool to do

  • Cirque du Soleil shows are a Vegas classic. With gravity-defying acrobatics, live music, and dreamlike storytelling, it’s a show you’ll never forget.
  • Check out the Neon Museum, where old Vegas signs go to shine again.
  • Visit the Pinball Hall of Fame and get lost in retro arcade fun.
  • Watch the Bellagio fountains dance to music – it’s free, and it’s spectacular.
  • Tour the themed mega-hotels: the Venetian (with real gondolas!), Caesars Palace, and Planet Hollywood are packed with surprises.

Bonus adventure

If you’re up for it, book a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. It’s the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience that turns your post-camp travel into an epic memory. Flying over the desert, watching the landscape change below you, then descending into the canyon itself? Unreal.

Food, glorious food

Vegas is a food-lover’s dream. A few favourites:

  • Harley Davidson Café – burgers, ribs, hotdogs, and bikes overhead.
  • 35 Steaks + Martinis at Hard Rock – classic steaks with a glam twist.
  • Rao’s at Caesars Palace – old-school Italian vibes with legendary spaghetti bolognese.
  • Black Tap at The Venetian – for Insta-worthy crazy milkshakes and stacked burgers.

Chill out time

Take a break from the madness with a visit to Las Vegas Springs Preserve – a desert oasis with botanical gardens, nature trails, and peaceful spots to recharge. Or simply grab a lounger by your hotel pool, relax in the sun, and soak up those iconic desert rays.

Sports + Spectacles

Las Vegas has gone from no teams to major league energy:

  • Watch a Las Vegas Raiders NFL game at Allegiant Stadium.
  • See the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL) bring the heat on the ice.
  • Catch UFC or a boxing match at MGM Grand – the atmosphere is electric.
  • Into golf? Vegas has stunning desert courses perfect for a day of play.

Where to party

Vegas doesn’t sleep—and neither will you.

Pool parties:

  • Wet Republic (MGM Grand) – VIP cabanas, DJs, and poolside vibes. Even Prince Harry’s been!
  • Rehab (Hard Rock) – the original Vegas pool party. Sundays are wild.

Nightclubs:

  • Tao (The Venetian) – a celeb hotspot with incredible music.
  • XS (Wynn) – one of the most famous clubs in the world. Expect big-name DJs and big-time fun.

Bars:

  • Ghostbar (The Palms) – 55 floors up with one of the best views of the Strip.
  • Coyote Ugly (New York-New York) – just like the movie. Expect dancing on bars!
  • The Mermaid Bar (Silverton Casino) – yes, there are mermaids. It’s Vegas, after all.
