Sports at Summer Camp
Sports are a massive part of life at American summer camps. Whether it’s fast-paced basketball, a tactical football (soccer) session, or teaching tennis basics to younger campers, your energy and love for the game will help inspire the next generation of athletes.
What is it like Working in Sports at Camp?
From the football pitch to the tennis court – coach the games you love.
Love sport? American summer camps do too. Whether you’re running football drills, refereeing a basketball game, or helping a child hit their first tennis serve, working as a Sports Counsellor is all about sharing your skills and passion with the next generation.
Each day, you’ll be outside, running fun, high-energy sessions that build confidence, improve technique, and get campers of all ages active and engaged. Camps are looking for positive role models who can motivate, support, and have fun – both on and off the field.

From Baseball, Gymnastics, Golf and Skateboarding to Fencing, Lacrosse, Martial Arts, Pickleball, American Football, and Volleyball – whatever your sport, there’s a camp that needs your skills.
